Bhakti Nusantara Lestari Foundation

NEWEST PROJECT
Concern for plastic waste and used cooking oil should begin in elementary school. The Bharata Foundation will launch waste sorting education programs in several elementary schools in Jakarta starting in August 2026.

WHAT WE DO - ON THE RIVER
If not prevented at home or in the immediate community, plastic waste will flow into rivers and could cause an ecological disaster that is extremely harmful to the communities living along the riverbanks.

WHAT WE DO - ON THE SEA
The oceans are becoming increasingly polluted with plastic waste. It is time for us to come together to clean up the growing piles of plastic waste—whether carried by river floods into the ocean or resulting from indifference to the severe consequences of this ecological disaster.
WHAT WE DO - ON THE LAND
We are committed to assisting the government in its efforts to create healthy cities. Instilling the importance of sorting inorganic waste and used cooking oil is also a key focus of our activities, starting at the elementary school level.
