In a tradition of manly deeds, scholarship and love for all mankind, the Beta Nu Lambda Foundation is a tax exempt nonprofit corporation. The goal of the Beta Nu Lambda Foundation is to promote community service, leadership development, educational opportunities, and scholarships to youth who have been considered at-risk youths and adults who are in special situations. We put special emphasis on reaching out to young minority males.
Founded in February 1997, the organization currently sponsors such events as: Project Alpha - a joint effort with the March of Dimes to educate teenagers on the responsibilities and perils of teenage parenthood; Alpha Academy provides an opportunity male high school teens to focus on become more focused on high school while preparing for college; the Phirst Phase program allows male figures to work one on one with elementary school students from underachieving schools; the Leadership Conference - an annual seminar which teaches youths leadership development skills; Adopt a Family - which strives to brighten the holidays for the less fortunate... just to name a few.
