The Beta Nu Lambda Foundation, Inc. is proud to support the Alpha Academy Leadership Program. This program is designed to enhance and enrich the lives of minority males in the Charlotte area. Our mission is to assist young men in achieving academic excellence, social refinement and cultural awareness while preparing them for college.  We also work to help them become productive members of society.

The Academy will meet from 10 am to 2 pm two Saturdays each month from September to June.  Each participant in the program will be matched with a mentor (professional brother) who will work with them one on one to improve personal and professional skills. Each senior in the program is eligible to participate in the Alpha Beautillion, Scholarship Formal which is designed to assist the student with his first year college tuition.  Finally the program will culminate with a graduation ceremony during the first week of June. During the sessions students will be provided with tutorial assistance and seminars on various topics such as multicultural changes in the work place, being an effective student, SAT preparation and college admissions.
